We provide:
Tea, robes, small towels.
All of our team members are CPR & First Aid trained. Not all sessions are guided, but our onsite host would be happy to support you throughout your session.
Our team on site is there to help assist you throughout your experience. While not all sessions are guided, our team is there to answer any questions you have along the way.

There are plenty of paid street parking available within the neighborhood.
We provide two small towels at our mount pleasant location for sitting in the sauna and drying off at the end.
Ambleside location you need to bring your own towel.
• Two towels (one to sit on and one to dry off with)
• A bathing suit or clothing you’re comfortable sweating and plunging in
• Slippers, Crocs, or sandals
• A water bottle (no glass, please)
Note: Towels, robes, and tea are not provided.
Yes! The public bathrooms and changing areas are located right next to the sauna. There is also a cold outdoor shower and foot wash station to rinse off after your session.
Yes, there is paid parking at Ambleside Beach. Transit options are also nearby.
You can book a Private Session on our website by navigating to the appropriate booking page and choosing the time that you prefer. Our private sessions can accommodate up to 20 guests total, and you have the option to request for it to be a guided experience, or cycle through at your leisure. We highly encourage you to contact us at hello@gatherwell.ca (hello@gatherwell.ca)and provide context about the event that you're planning. You can also text us at 604-800-6884.
If you're planning to host a bigger group or book a time outside of our regular schedule, please contact us directly before booking. We love events as much as you do so we will always do our best to make it happen!
Please note: This is a booking request system. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation from us saying we have approved the time and date of your request.
Our sauna can comfortably host a maximum of 10 people at once. Our team kindly enforces this to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.

Food is not currently welcome at Gatherwell.
Yes! Please check our schedule for the most up to date session times.
50-minute sessions are perfect to fit into a busier day, and often have more start times available. 90-minute sessions provide more time to drop into th experience and connect with the other people in your session.
A robe, towel to sit on in the sauna, and tea lounge are available for all sessions.
Yes! Please drop by during open hours and let our Host know what you're looking for. We collect lost items for 30 days, after which they will be donated.
Our Community and Free Flow sessions are designed for adults only to ensure a serene and rejuvenating experience. If you'd like to bring a group of minors, please contact us about booking a Private Session.
We have policies to to maintain our commitment to a safe and respectful space for all, and about cancellations, memberships, and travel pauses

You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel your reservation up to 2 hours in advance of the scheduled session. For private sessions, a 48-hour notice prior to the scheduled session is required to be eligible for a refund.
Please try and do this by creating an account on our website with the email associated with your initial booking. If you can not cancel through your account, please notify us and we will support.
If you created an account at the time of your booking, please log in and head to your booking history to edit your booking by cancelling or rescheduling.
If you did NOT create an account, not to worry! You can retroactively create an account with the same email that you made your booking with. Our system will merge your booking with your new account. You can proceed to edit your booking if you are within the appropriate time frame.
Rescheduling a drop-in session requires 2 hours notice, and cancelling will require 2 hours if you would like a refund. Rescheduling a private session requires 24 hours notice, and cancelling will require 48 hours notice. Thank you for your understanding!

Late Cancellations: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled session. Additionally, rescheduling within 2 hours of the scheduled time may be subject to availability.
